Chiropractic

Acupuncture

Acupuncture also is a therapeutic practice that combines elements of both holistic, orthopedic and medical acupuncture, offering a comprehensive approach to healing and wellness. Thin needles are used in various points to increase blood flow, release endorphins, reduce pain and increase range of motion to the treated structures. Acupuncture is also used to treat women’s health conditions, anxiety, depression, insomnia, GI disorders and much more.

Active Release Technique

A soft tissue technique that focuses on relieving tissue tension through the removal of fibrosis and adhesions which can develop in tissues as a result of overload due to repetitive use. This technique is highly effective in treating athletes.

Cupping

A vacuum cup that creates a suction underneath the skin. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be draw up and swell causing increase in blood flow to the area. The increase in blood flow under the cups draws impurities away from the nearby tissues and organs towards the surface.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a specific technique of acupuncture. An acupuncture needle is inserted into the skin and muscle and aimed to treat myofascial trigger points (MTrPs). Trigger points are hyperirritable spots/knots located in the taut band of the skeletal muscle. Dry needling immediately increase pressure pain threshold, range of motion, decrease muscle tone and pain.

Women’s Health
